A non-profit organization is a group of indivduals who share and work toward a common goal and whom don't profit.

Who are the Good Guys Optimist?

The Good Guys Optimist are ordinary people whom provide essential home repairs to low-income families and individuals.

What services do the Good Guys Optimst offer?

The Good Guys Optimist offer essential home repairs to low income individuals or families that otherwise would not happen without the resources of Good Guys Optimist.

Am I eligible?

If you are a low income individual or family and do not have sufficient funds to have an essential home repair done, you are eligible. We do not do renovations.

Do I have to pay for any services offered by the Good Guys Optimist?

The Good Guys Optimist goal is to provide free services to our community. We do provide free labour. Building materials may incurr a fee. Please contact the Good Guys to find out if are eligible for free materials. Our future goal is to provide the funds necessary to supply building materials free of cost.

When can I expect after applying to the Good Guys Optimist for help?

Currently we are experiencing a high volume of requests and cannot guarentee a date of contact. The Good Guys Optimist do their utmost to contact requests within a resonable time period in relation to our volunteers.

Can I get a tax receipt?

Yes, donations to the Good Guys are tax deductable.
