This event took place on University and Cameron Avenue (in the alley that runs behind old Classic D bingo next to Ravine). This event was held two days after earth day and we are delighted to say the event was successful. Unfortunetly a resident's home backed out onto this area which was being used as a dumping ground.
Hi Guys. On behalf of the Neighbourhood Watch Block Captains, we want to express our appreciation of bringing your group to help us clean up the alley behind Cameron Avenue. This is an ongoing sore point with those of us who are conscientious homeowners. We have done our best to try to do an annual clean-up in this area, but unfortunately have not had a lot of bodies to help. Having your group here was a tremendous help. Hopefully it will provide an impetus for those who didn't join us today to at least not dump any more garbage. You have made a difference in this neighbourhood.
